Hello!
My passion is working with people to loosen the grips of the negative beliefs we hold;
to decondition, to unlearn, unleash, unburden.
To give the concealed words and the camouflaged emotions a space to breathe. To take up space, to soothe your soul, to restore the equilibrium. To journey back to yourself.
In service of survival
The beliefs that disrupt us in the present are often rooted in our earliest + most potent fears.
They transcend time + space illuminating threats in our relationships, our jobs + our homes. Driving us to people please and procrastinate and strive to be perfect through fear of rejection and criticism and failure.
In service of survival, we construct our strongest assumptions about ourselves + others amidst the chaos of rocky events.
We anticipate the worst based on the blueprint of our past hurts.
Our experiences are often accompanied by a sneaky, vindicate voice that says “you should get over it”, “you’re making a big deal out of nothing” or “you don’t deserve to feel this way.”
I urge you not to listen - our brains are biased to encode most strongly the experiences that made a part of us feel endangered (this is why a seemingly small event can leave us with an insurmountable fear of rejection, abandonment or failure).
All of your parts are welcome here: the shady, the shameful + the ugly. The parts you dismiss + reject. The grim + grizzly, the flawed + frazzled.
These are often the parts that are desperate to be accepted + witnessed, seen + heard, validated + believed.
