Meet Kazzy
Hello!
Psychotherapist
Founder of Too Much Therapy
I wanted to create a space that would have been comforting + soul soothing during the difficult & distressing moments in my own life.
As a human being; messy + unfinished
I’ve spent most of my life feeling that I am too much; too sensitive, too emotional, too dramatic, too quiet, too loud, too nice, too needy. I’m taking up too much space. I feel things too deeply. I take things too personally. I am too much yet I am also not enough.
After years of learning and unlearning in my own therapeutic journey of coming home to myself, I began to accept that I am enough and all parts of me are enough.
And in doing so, I have reclaimed the idea of being too much, with gentleness, with compassion, with love. It’s who I am. It’s a part of me. I don’t want to be anything less.
As a psychotherapist; gentle + authentic
I have been privileged enough to be granted a glimpse into the rich inner worlds of many minds over the eight years I worked in the NHS as a therapist + mental health social worker.
I have never failed to be amazed at the resilience, the courage + the bravery of everyday folk.
don’t edit your soul to meet the needs of others
I noticed a common thread in the human’s i’ve met in therapy; a theme weaving + knotting, pinching + twisting. A narrative fuelled by an intense + immense fear of being somewhat inadequate, inferior, unimportant, unloveable, faulty and flawed.
